What is your U.S. shipping policy?

Free standard shipping within the U.S. (via USPS) on purchases with a subtotal of $75 and over (excluding taxes and after promotional codes are applied). For all other orders, the shipping cost and shipping carrier will be calculated based on shipping speed and delivery location.

When will my order ship?

Orders submitted before 5 pm est Wednesday through Sunday are processed the same day and shipped the next day. Orders submitted after 5 pm est Sunday through Tuesday are processed the next day and shipped within 48 hours. Any shipping delays caused by our selected couriers are beyond our control. Customers will not be refunded for items that arrive late in transit due to such delays.

Is there a sales tax charge on my order?

There is no sales tax assessed unless the order is being shipped within the District of Columbia.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number via e-mail when your order ships.

What if my package is lost, stolen or missing?

Once your order has been successfully dispatched and in possession of the selected courier for delivery, Eighth+Kin is not responsible if the package is delayed, lost, misplaced, stolen or incorrectly delivered if the shipping address information provided is incorrect. We do not issue refunds, credits or replacements for packages confirmed delivered by the courier. If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please wait at least 48 hours. Unfortunately, couriers sometimes mark packages as delivered prematurely. If after 48 hours your package is still missing, contact us within 7 calendar days at experience@eighthandkin.com for instructions on filing a claim with the courier. Please note that a resolution to the claim can take up to 30 days.

We highly encourage all customers to purchase Route's Green Package Protection at checkout. This is a package protection solution that helps cover your order in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Eighth+Kin does ship internationally. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes and charges, these fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost. International shipping rates are calculated by the shipping carrier depending on the weight of the package.

We cannot guarantee shipping times for international shipments.  International shipping can be delayed 3-6 weeks or longer depending on customs or country of destination. While we do provide tracking numbers on all shipments, not every country we ship to tracks shipments all the way to the destination. While the majority of our shipments arrive without issue, we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or delayed shipments. We recommend you take your tracking info to your local postal office to assist with tracking and timeline. If you are in a rush, you may select international priority shipping.

We do not accept returns on international orders and shipments.
