Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water. Apply a quarter-size amount to hands and rub together. Apply to the hair and gently massage the scalp being careful to not tangle the hair.

Consider shampooing your hair in the same direction that you intend to style your hair to further reduce tangles.

Rinse and repeat as necessary.
