This formula contains selected ingredients to gently cleanse and detoxify all skin but specifically melanin rich skin tones which are more prone to develop uneven pigmentation. The choice of these sugar-based surfactants allows for a very soft cleaning. The texture is mild, natural, and multifaceted: balm turns into oil under massage (on dry skin!) then becomes a milky emulsion while rinsing. It leaves the skin nourished and plumped.

How To Use

Squeeze a small amount onto fingertips. Massage onto dry skin - the balm becomes oil. Add some water - the texture is now a milk that will remove makeup, impurities and pollution particles. Rinse well with warm water. Pat dry – now the skin is clean and silky.

The story of USTAWI traces the journey of Natacha Paugam, the founder. Balancing achievement while also trying to take care of her health and stressed skin, Natacha returned to her homeland to resources. In her journey of healing , she reconnected with old family recipes kept by her mother, combining local natural ingredients, and practices that enhance total wellbeing. Back in France, she was inspired to re-create some of the benefits she had experienced during her stay in Africa – for herself, and for others. She surrounded herself with a team of experts (Board certified dermatologists, scientists and researchers, business executives) to bring her brand vision to life…USTAWI was born.

Born and raised in Africa, Natacha is a citizen of the world. She is a proud black woman who believes in women supporting women.
